Nick Tepesch won his second consecutive start, Elvis Andrus and Chris Gimenez each had two RBIs, and the Texas Rangers beat the Minnesota Twins 7-2 on Monday afternoon. Tepesch (2-0) allowed two runs in 6 2-3 innings, striking out four to win consecutive starts for the first time in his career. Alex Rios added two more hits and now has six straight multi-hit games. The Rangers have won three straight and five of six.

Kevin Correia pitched seven strong innings and the Minnesota Twins clinched their first series victory at Texas in four years, beating the AL West-leading Rangers 4-2 on Sunday. Correia (9-10) allowed one run and scattered five hits. The right-hander struck out two and got 14 outs on the ground, including a pair of double plays. Rangers starter Travis Blackley (2-2) was gone after giving up three consecutive run-scoring hits with one out in the fifth.
Leonys Martin hit a game-winning bases-loaded single with two out in the ninth inning to give the Texas Rangers a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins Saturday night. Alex Rios doubled with one out against losing pitcher Caleb Thielbar (2-2). Two walks and one out later, Martin sent a ground ball past Brian Duensing, the Twins' third pitcher of the inning, to send Rios home.
