Kevin Garnett has never lost to his former team. He's 7-0 against the Timberwolves with four of those wins at Target Center, averaging 14.9 points and 10.3 rebounds in those games. "I played in this building before, for countless years," Garnett said, before breaking into a smile and a chuckle. "I hope that I at least make a couple shots in this place." Chase Budinger has rejoined his Minnesota Timberwolves teammates for light workouts at practice while he works his surgically repaired left knee back into shape. Budinger likely remains a month or more from playing in games after offseason surgery to remove a portion of the meniscus in his knee. Budinger was doing some individual shooting drills after practice on Monday. He says he's not putting a specific timetable on his return, only that he's taking things "week by week." Budinger signed a three-year, $16 million contract in July. But while he was working out in August to prepare for the season, he re-injured the same knee that kept him out for four months last year.
