2 Killed In Friday's Eden Prairie Standoff ID'd

The identities of the two suspects killed in Friday morning's police chase-turned deadly shootout have been released. According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office, the deaths of Matthew Vincent Serbus, 36, and Dawn Marie Pfister, 34, have been ruled as homicides, with multiple gunshot wounds listed as the cause of death for both. The duo were killed after a police standoff in Eden Prairie at Highway 101 near Dell Road, which began as a high-speed chase in Chaska on Highway 212.

State Patrol: 3 Killed In 3 Separate Crashes On Wet, Icy Roads

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, three people were killed in three separate crashes on wet and icy roads on Monday. The first report of a fatal crash was at 2:00 p.m., when a rollover occurred on northbound Highway 7 in Big Stone County in western Minnesota. A Mercury Grand Marquis went off the road and into a southbound ditch, and then rolled down a steep hill, eventually coming to a rest with the passenger side on the ground. The driver, 85-year-old Donavan Tesch of Clinton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Big Stone County Sheriff's office says roads were wet at the time of the accident.

1 Dead In Head-On Crash In Olivia

A St. Paul man is dead after a head-on crash in Olivia on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The fatal accident occurred at 1 p.m. on Highway 212 near Highway 71 in Renville County. A 1999 Volkswagen Passat, driven by 55-year-old Bu Shwe, collided with a 2011 Dodge Ram, driven by Michael Traxler, age 31. Shwe was killed in the crash. Traxler, of Long Prairie, was unharmed, as was his passenger, 18-year-old Hope Nue of Granite Falls.
