Minn. Man Fatally Struck At S. Indiana Truck Stop

Authorities have identified a Minnesota man as the person struck and killed by a vehicle in the dark parking lot of a southern Indiana truck stop. The Clark County Coroner's Office said Friday that 58-year-old Billy Ray Evans of Hill City, Minn., died at the scene when he was hit by a large truck. Evans was found on the ground Thursday night at a truck stop just off Interstate 65 near the town of Memphis, about 15 miles north of Louisville, Ky.

Plymouth Woman Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A Plymouth woman is dead after her husband lost control of his motorcycle while driving in Indiana Thursday morning, according to authorities. Lori K. Rutten, 55, and her husband Roger, 59, where driving northbound on I-65 in Lake County on a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle when Roger switched lanes and struck an uneven portion of the road. The motorcycle flipped, and both passengers were ejected over barrier cables, eventually landing on a grassy portion of the median.
