Mpls. Man Gets 25 Years For Shooting Boy, 2 Others
A 35-year-old Minneapolis man was sentenced to more than 25 years in prison for shooting a 4-year-old boy and two others last June, according to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office. Deontray Vershon Tate was convicted on two counts of first-degree assault in March for a shooting that happened on the morning of June 25, 2013 near the 3600 block of Penn Avenue North in Minneapolis.
