An Eden Prairie man was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of criminal vehicular homicide in connection with a fatal crash in August. According to the Hennepin County Attorney's office, 46-year-old Randoll Guy Sloan was arrested on a criminal warrant for driving while under the influence of alcohol, having a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08 and for driving in a "grossly negligent manner." The complaint says on Aug. 1, Sloan was driving a Chevrolet Corvette with passenger Kyle Boline on Eden Prairie Road. At around 7:45 p.m., the Corvette didn't take a curve and ended up striking a power pole. The car flipped, and both passengers were ejected. Boline died to hours later at Hennepin County medical Center. Sloan was treated for a broken leg and "significant cuts to the head," according to the criminal complaint.
