Pre-Halloween snow in Minnesota

Halloween? Christmas? Why not both?
Thanks to Krissy Engel in Amery, Wisconsin for sharing this photo that pretty much sums up our snowy Halloween.
Snowy Halloween skeletons
What a creepy pair of school bus stop skeletons! Spotted in Elk River for those hoping to steer clear.
A little dramatic, don't you think?
"Weather Watcher Lupin has a high wind warning for Farmington. Too late to help himself," said Greg Kelcher.
More like snow hill cranes
This sand hill crane family stayed a day too long, it seems.
The classic patio shot
Rick Nelsen, from Hudson, Wisconsin, shared this classic image of the snow collecting on patio furniture.
A chilly but prepared deer
Dan Menard sent in this picture of a deer getting snowed on before walking away in the Coon Rapids area.
The gathering snow
Dan Menard also sent in this shot of the accruing snow from his yard in the Coon Rapids area.
This is Halloween
Funny how the addition of snow can make even the most spooktacular Halloween decorations "read" as holiday lights.
