Zimmerman Man Arrested In Stabbing
ZIMMERMAN, Minn. (WCCO) – A 21-year-old Zimmerman man was arrested Thursday in connection with an early-morning stabbing.
David Lenz was booked into the Sherburne County Jail for second-degree assault.
At about 1:22 a.m. Thursday, authorities in Sherburne County responded to a stabbing incident in the 26300 block of 4th St. W. When they arrived, they found a victim injured and bleeding from stab wounds to an arm and leg.
Authorities say there was a party at the residence, and an argument started between Lenz and the victim. A witness at the party told police that Lenz stabbed the victim twice. Lenz was arrested at the scene and is awaiting criminal charges. The incident remains under investigation.
Authorities say the victim was transported to Fairview Northland Hospital, treated and released.
