Zimmerman Man, 66, Found, Says Sherburne County Sheriff

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - The Zimmerman, Minnesota, man missing since Wednesday has been found unharmed, the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office is now saying.

"We thank everyone for their assistance," Capt. Scott Fildes said in a statement.

Original story: The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office is looking for a Zimmerman, Minnesota, man who has been missing since Wednesday.

Vinson James Carlson, 66, was last seen by a family member early Wednesday morning.

He has health issues that have police concerned for his welfare.

Carlson is about 170 pounds, 5-feet-11-inches tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

He may be driving a black 1996 Chevrolet Z71, with a black topper and the Minnesota license plate 746DUB (pictured at right).

Carlson has friends in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and family in Belgrade, Minnesota. He also has camped at Gooseberry Falls State Park on Minnesota's North Shore.

People with information about Vinson's whereabouts are asked to call the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office at 763-765-3595 or dial 911.
