Young Photographers Snap Up Experience At Target Field
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you've ever been to Target Field, you know there's a lot to see. And a special group of photographers captured those images for the first time Tuesday.
The photographers are part of a program called Photography at the Center, which it gives local kids who might not have access to pricey cameras access and expertise in learning the trade.
And on Tuesday they got eye level at Target Field. There wasn't a game, but there was plenty to look at.

Kendale Perkins hasn't even started high school, and he was in the midst of an experience many go a lifetime without.
"Nothing like this has ever happened to me before," he said.
He was part of the group that works with programs like the Boys and Girls Club, which offer free mentorship and equipment to children.
Sydnee Bickett works with the program.
"They might not have ever had that chance to see that they could do [photography]," she said. "They could make something, make a piece of art and have it hang on a wall in their community center and have all their friends be wowed by that."
Bickett says it's a gratifying process, and more than flashes are going off.
"It's just kinda those light bulb moments," she said.
Ateejah Barth is 11 and knows enough to give the rest of us some advice.
"Just be creative, have fun with it," she said. "Don't be like, 'I have to do this, I have to do that.'"
And that's just what the kids did Tuesday. Here are some of the shots the kids snapped.
