Wright County Authorities Ask Hunters And Farmers To Keep Eye Out For Missing Man
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Twenty-five-year-old Chris Rossing was last seen on Aug. 23 in Howard Lake, Minn.
Since then, two people have been arrested in connection with the case.
But Sheriff Joe Hagerty says there's still no sign of Rossing.
"We've been getting quite a few tips on people finding a lot of discarded clothing in ditches, waters and swamps. And we look into everything we can," Hagerty said.
He is asking hunters and farmers to be vigilant this fall, and look for any evidence of Rossing.
"The corn and beans will be coming out in the next two weeks, so any help we can get would be helpful," he said
As far as what exactly happened, the sheriff said the people arrested have not been much help.
Rossing was last seen in Howard Lake leaving Trouble's Bar and Restaurant.
Sheriff Hagerty said they believe the man he was with that night knows something.
"At some point after bar closing they encountered each other again and something happened. And whatever it was, we believe it's resulted in the disappearance of Chris, " he said.
