Worthington Voters Approve $34M Expansion For Crowded Schools
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- After six consecutive years, Worthington voters passed a referendum that will give schools more money for its growing number of students.
More than $33 million will go towards building a new middle school. Voters also approved giving farmers and the ag-community a tax credit to off-set the financial burden.

More than 70 other Minnesota school districts asked taxpayers to help fund improvements Tuesday. Voters also voted in favor of property tax levies to bolster the Lakeville School District, Apple Valley-Rosemount-Eagan ISD 196, and Burnsville-Eagan-Savage ISD 191.
