World War II Medals Found In Rochester Park
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A piece of history discovered in a southern Minnesota park has created quite the mystery for police.
Two World War II medals were found wrapped in an old sheet in Silver Lake Park last week.
Police have no idea who they belong to or why they were left in the park. They do want to get them to the rightful owner.
One of the medals appears to be for military police and the other was given for good conduct, which was pretty common.
Anyone with information on these medals is asked to contact Rochester Police at 507-328-6875.
