Woman Killed In Brooklyn Center Crash ID'd
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman killed when a Jeep crashed into a tree in Brooklyn Center Monday morning has been identified.
At about 1:30 a.m., the Jeep went over the median at the 6100 block of Shingle Creek Parkway. Police say two women were in the Jeep at the time.
After the collision, one got out on her own and is expected to survive. The other died at the scene.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the deceased victim as Ashley Marie Williams, 23, of Minneapolis. She died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash.
Brooklyn Center Police are investigating.
