Police: Woman Hurt In Richfield Stabbing, Suspect Arrested
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police say a 20-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after a woman suffered multiple injuries in a stabbing on Tuesday in Richfield.
The Richfield Police Department responded at about 10:36 p.m. to the 1700 block of West 76th Street on a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a female victim who had been stabbed several times.
The woman was taken to a hospital, and the extent of her injuries are unknown.
Officers with Edina and Bloomington police assisted Richfield in searching for the suspect. They were unable to locate the person responsible.
Officers with the Richfield Police Department arrested a suspect at about 3 p.m. Wednesday in connection with the incident. He has been identified as Saul Temich-Lucho.
Authorities say the incident remains under investigation.
