Woman Charged With Stabbing Boyfriend Dead As Daughter Watched
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A 30-year-old Blaine woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death after she says he knocked her tooth out.
Police say Artiesha Areatha Love waited more than an hour after the stabbing before having her brother call 911. Before the 911 call, Love had one of her daughter's mop up the blood that spilled and dump a knife used in the stabbing into the trash, according to the criminal complaint.
Love is charged with first-degree manslaughter in the death of 29-year-old Gregory Stallone Stewart.
Stewart was found dead in Love's kitchen with two puncture wounds to the chest.
Love told police she was in an abusive relationship with Stewart and he had come to the apartment intoxicated and hit her in the face, knocking out a front tooth.
She then stabbed him him in the kitchen while her daughter watched, according to the complaint.
