1 Arrested, 1 Sought In Medford McDonald's Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with a shooting at the Medford McDonald's in Steele County. Police say a man also suspected in the shooting is still at large.
According to authorities, the Steele County Sheriff's Office was dispatched around 4:16 p.m. Monday to the Medford McDonald's, at 6874 Frontage Road West on a report of shots fired.
Two vehicles left the scene as police were approaching, including the vehicle suspected in the shooting. The second vehicle, occupied by the victims, left the scene and drove to a nearby gas station.
At the gas station, police spoke to the uninjured victims who said a white man who they knew approached their vehicle with a gun and began firing. The victim sped out of the parking lot and the suspect left.
On Tuesday, police arrested a woman who was suspected in the shooting. A second suspect, identified as 44-year-old Jason Paul Krieg, is still at large. Police warn Krieg may be armed and dangerous.
