Witnesses: Police Shoot, Kill Man Holding Rifle On The Street
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police shot and killed a man in Brooklyn Center Thursday night after he was seen walking down a street with a rifle, witnesses said.
The shooting appears to have happened on the 5300 block of Fremont Avenue North.
Many squad cars responded to the scene. Hennepin County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lisa Kiava said a statement will be given; but she gave no indication as to when.
