Three People Flown From Scene Of Anoka Co. Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Three people suffered life-threatening injuries after a head-on crash Tuesday near Oak Grove, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities said the crash happened around 5:18 p.m. on 221st Avenue near the railroad tracks, though a train was not involved. Two individuals needed extrication after the collision and three were airlifted by helicopter to the hospital.
One individual is at North Memorial, two others are at the Hennepin County Medical Center and the remaining two are at unknown hospitals.
Information on the victims has yet to be released.
