Witness Stymies Attempted Robbery In Pine City
PINE CITY (WCCO) -- The Pine County Sheriff's Office says a witness interrupted a home invasion and broke up an attempted robbery Monday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on the 500 block of 5th Ave. S. in Pine City.
According to the Sheriff's Office, two armed men between the ages of 19 to 25 years old confronted the residents of the house and demanded money.
Meanwhile, a third party witnessed the suspects enter the home and yelled they were calling 911.
The suspects then fled the scene and have yet to be located.
The incident is being investigated.
