WisDOT: May Traffic Deaths Lowest In 68 Years
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The fewest people died in Wisconsin traffic deaths in the month of May since the end of World War II, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
Thirty-three people died in Wisconsin crashes, 17 fewer than May 2012 and 19 under the five-year average for the month of May.
The deadliest May was 1968 when 123 died in traffic accidents.
