Wis. Logger Frees Black Bear Trapped In Can
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One lucky black bear has a Wisconsin logger to thank for helping him out of an odd situation.
According to WEAU-TV, Garrett Smith found a bear struggling in a corn field near Rice Lake, Wis. The bear had a can stuck to its head and was struggling to get it off. The corn field is located about two hours east of the Twin Cities.
Fortunately, there was a forwarder machine out in the field, so Smith used a claw to pop the can off the bear's head and it took off once freed. The video was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday and it's already gotten 650,000 thousand views.
