Wis. Anglers Rescue Deer In Lake
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two Wisconsin fishermen used their rods to reel in something much bigger than a fish this past weekend.
The two instead found a deer about a half-mile off shore in Lake Winnebago near Green Bay.
Using their boat and fishing rods, the men tried to guide the doe to more shallow water, but she was struggling.
Cell phone video shows the men pulled up next to the deer and grabbed on tight. They said the deer didn't fight.
The boat slowly towed her to shore, where she got out and went on her way.
