ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) -- Parts of southeastern Minnesota have received as much as 10 inches of snow, causing dozens of school districts to close and prompting others to delay their starts.
The National Weather Service posted a winter storm warning for southeastern Minnesota, including the cities of Rochester and Winona. Flood warnings are also in effect west of Red Wing and north of Mankato.
Cummingsville and Spring Valley have received 10 inches. About 8 inches have fallen in Albert Lea, and Winona and Rochester each have about 7 inches.
Dozens of schools in those areas were shut down Monday because of travel conditions. Others delayed their openings by two hours.
