NWS Issues Wind Chill Warning For Central, Southern Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill warning for much of central and southern Minnesota.
According to the NWS, wind chills will drop to 35-45 below zero overnight Saturday and remain there into Sunday morning.
The wind chill warning goes into effect at 6 p.m. Saturday and lasts until noon Sunday.
Wind chills this frigid can cause frostbite in 10 minutes, the NWS said, so bundle up.
