Will John Carlson Bounce Back In 2013?
MANKATO, Minn. (WCCO) -- John Carlson wants this season to be a comeback year.
He never got quite on track last season in his return to his home state, but there's a new sense of confidence that comes from good health and some continuity.
"To be on the field is the goal and to be getting better every day – last year was a huge disappointment in that regard," he said. "I'm trying not to take it for granted."
Carlson wants a comfort level he didn't get to have last year, and he's now making plays in the teams' passing scrimmages.
"I still have plenty of stuff to work on," he said. "This is actually the first time in my six years in the NFL that I had the same offense two years in a row, so I can build on what I learned last year."
