Wild Start NHL Playoffs In Chicago Tuesday
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Wild earned the No. 8 seed in the NHL Western Conference Playoffs after winning 3-1 at Colorado Saturday night.
Their reward is a first-round playoff match-up with the best team in the NHL, the Chicago Blackhawks. It's the first time the Wild is in the playoffs since 2008. The Wild will travel to Chicago for Game 1 of the series at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Game two will be in Chicago at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The series then comes to Minnesota for Game three at 3 p.m. Sunday at Xcel Energy Center. Game four will be at 8:30 p.m. next Tuesday, May 7, at Xcel Energy Center. It's a best-of-seven series, with the winner advancing to the Western Conference Semifinals.
