Wild Players To Wear Pre-Game Camouflage Jerseys
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota Wild players will wear custom-designed camouflage jerseys during warm-ups before Tuesday night's game against the Edmonton Oilers at Xcel Energy Center.
The Minnesota National Guard is the presenting partner for the 7 p.m. game.
The autographed camouflage jerseys will be available in an online auction starting Wednesday on the community page of www.wild.com. Proceeds will benefit Defending The Blue Line, the Wild's charity of the month for February. A group of National Guard soldiers created the non-profit organization to help families of all military branches with costs associated with hockey.
The auction runs through March 16.
