Wild Hosting Post NHL Stadium Series Skate At TCF Bank Stadium
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Ever wonder what it might be like to skate on the same ice as some of the top players in the NHL? Minnesota Wild fans can get that chance just days after they host the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL's Stadium Series at TCF Bank Stadium.
The Wild host the Blackhawks at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21. The Wild announced Thursday that fans who don't already have tickets for the Wild game against the New York Islanders on Tuesday, Feb. 23, can grab their skates and head to TCF Bank Stadium that night. There will be three one-hour sessions to take on the Stadium Series ice.
For $20, fans get one hour of ice time as well as a hot dog, popcorn and a pop or hot chocolate and a Minnesota Wild tote bag.
Sessions go from 7 to 8 p.m., 8:15-9:15 p.m. and 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. Gates at TCF Bank Stadium will open at 6 p.m., and the pregame and postgame shows will be shown live on the video board at the stadium.
