Wild Claim Stoll From Rangers Off Waivers

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have claimed center Jarret Stoll off waivers from the New York Rangers.

The move was made on Tuesday, before the Wild played the Vancouver Canucks. The Wild host the Rangers on Thursday.

Stoll was waived on Monday after totaling just one goal and two assists in 29 games with the Rangers. He failed to record a point in his last 18 games. The 13-season veteran won two Stanley Cup titles with the Los Angeles Kings before signing with the Rangers as a free agent last summer.

The 33-year-old Stoll has 141 goals, 241 assists and 602 penalty minutes in 821 career NHL games, with a plus-6 rating and a faceoff winning percentage of 55.4.

Stoll's 93 postseason games are more than any other Wild player.
