Wetterling To Be Honored During 'Celebrate St. Cloud State' Weekend
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Cloud State will be honoring the life of Jacob Wetterling this weekend.
They will be handing out "#11" stickers to everyone who attends "Celebrate St. Cloud State" events, including Saturday's football game against Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Huskies' mascot, Blizzard, will wear a jersey with Wetterling's number 11.
Wetterling lived in nearby St. Joseph when he was abducted in 1989.
The Interstate 35W Bridge will remain lit in blue till Sept. 25. That is the date of the public memorial service for Wetterling, which is at 10 a.m. at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph.
