Weekly Fantasy Preview – Vikings At Eagles
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's already Week 5 in the NFL, and both the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles are in critical stages in their seasons.
The Vikings have dropped two straight and are 1-2-1 on the season. The Eagles are 2-2, and have yet to establish a chemistry on offense with Carson Wentz just returning from a significant knee injury.
So you're playing fantasy football and you've got some decisions to make before the Sunday afternoon kickoff. It's an interesting match-up for the Vikings from a fantasy football standpoint. They will likely struggle to run the ball against the stout Eagles' defense.
Look for the Vikings to throw, throw and throw the football some more. Look for Kirk Cousins to get three touchdown passes, and look for new kicker Dan Bailey to get some attempts of his own. The Vikings should score enough points this week to make fantasy football owners happy.

It's a rematch you won't want to miss this weekend, as the Minnesota Vikings head back to Lincoln Financial Field to face off against their 2017 NFC Championship game opponents, the Philadelphia Eagles. Here are some additional players that can have a major fantasy impact:
Adam Thielen – In a season plagued by uncertainty, one thing is clear, Thielen has been unstoppable. He's gone for over 100 yards in every game this season, leading the entire league in targets. As one of Cousins' favorite weapons, Thielen should continue to stay hot against a struggling Eagles defense.
Stefon Diggs – As part of the Vikings dynamic duo at wide receiver, Stefon Diggs has put up big numbers in his own right. Going up against the Eagles feeble secondary, Diggs could be in for a big day.
Alshon Jeffery – Showing an impressive season debut in week 4, which included 8 grabs for 105 yards and a touchdown, Jeffrey is back on top – returning to the game after recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. Despite sitting out at practice Wednesday for a minor chest injury, Jeffery is cleared for Sunday's matchup and a great start against a Vikings defense that has struggled against the pass.
