Weather Blog: Windy Easter
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It could be worse. It could be a snowy Easter. Or a bitter cold one. Instead, the greatest weather factor will be the wind.
Yes, this will mess with those family photos you plan on taking. And any video recordings of egg hunts will feature that lovely wind across the microphone sound.
Our one shot of rain will be around lunch on Saturday. There won't be much moisture available along the cold front until it passes over Wisconsin. But we could see a quick round of showers. The threat will clear by dinnertime, but the wind will be howling.
Expect a good deal of sunshine Easter Sunday with highs falling back to the 50s and a stiff breeze from the west.
We stay dry for next several days with a cold snap in play for Monday and Tuesday.
Temps could fall to freezing by Wednesday morning.
