Weather Blog: Ground-Fog Day
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- We have been melting away our snow with temperatures well above average. The wind is quite light, and that allows the low-level moisture to hang around in the form of fog.
There is a dense fog advisory in play for many Minnesota counties until 10 a.m. Thursday. Visibility could be under one-fourth-mile in many areas. Bottom line -- be careful.
There could be some slick spots in areas that drop below freezing.
I do believe our favorite furry Phil sees his shadow in Pennsylvania in the early hours, which would indicate six more weeks of winter.
Wait a minute -- have we had winter yet?
Highs will stay well above average, and we stay dry for quite some time.
