MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's August, and the weekend started off great with a #Top10WxDay! With all the humidity cleared out of the Twin Cities, it was a great weekend to get outdoors. Don't worry -- you haven't quite missed your chance! Here are some great ways to enjoy the weather this weekend in Minnesota.
First, the Annual Key Log Rolling Open at Paddle For Humanity! Head out to Lake Calhoun and put your lumberjack balancing skills to the test. Proceeds from this event go towards the Minneapolis Parks Foundation.
On Tuesday, people around the country will head out into their neighborhoods as part of National Night Out. And here in Minnesota, we tend to lead the nation in participation. St. Paul's National Night Out coordinator Pam McCreary stopped by to tell us what it's all about.
If you're heading to Target Field this weekend, why not check out one of the new restaurants they have this year? A gourmet burger joint, that opened its first location not even two years ago. Now it has three. For Saturday's DeRusha Eats, Jason went to the Red Cow in downtown Minneapolis.

On Sunday, Open Streets Minneapolis is taking over East Lake Street in Uptown! It's a chance to walk, bike and participate in all sorts of fun activities in the streets of your neighborhood. It's a great way to enjoy the beautiful weekend weather!
