Practice your triple axels and spins throughout the holiday season. And when you get cold, head to their warming house in the AMC Theater. Speaking of downtown Minneapolis, Santaland is back at Macy's in downtown Minneapolis for the 53rd year! Santa himself will be there to gather wish lists of children across the state. Guests will walk through the animated story of Santa's elves as they prepare for Christmas. You can also check out Mrs. Claus' holiday bakery, which include her famous gingerbread cookies. Santaland opens Saturday at 10 a.m., and it goes until Christmas Eve. It's at the eighth floor auditorium of the Macy's along Nicollet Mall.
The ski and snowboard season has officially begun, a month later than usual. Wild Mountain in Taylors Falls opened for the season Friday. They have at least two runs open, with two to three feet of man-made snow. Click here to visit their website.
