Warrant Issued For Predatory Offender Who Allegedly Violated Release Terms

RICH CITY, Minn. (WCCO) -- Authorities are searching for a Level 3 predatory offender, who has been on fugitive status since Sunday for allegedly violating the terms of his supervised release.

Rommel Heinrich Fritz is on intensive supervised release for first-degree criminal sexual conduct against an underage female and was released into the Sandstone, Minn., area on June 11 from the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Rush City. But the Minnesota Department of Corrections has issued a warrant to apprehend the 52-year-old since July 21.

Fritz is white, 5-feet-10 and 193 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He's known for riding his blue Schwinn mountain bicycle, and may be pulling a bicycle trailer filled with his belongings.

Authorities say do not confront Fritz, but instead call 911 or the tipline at 651-603-0026.
