Want To Name A New Restaurant In Uptown?
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you've ever wanted to name a restaurant -- now's your chance. When the Kaskaid Hospitality group -- parent company of Crave, Union, figlio and Urban Eatery -- opens their latest concept in Uptown, they'll be looking for the public's help.
"We want this restaurant to be a place where neighbors gather and who better to name it than the community," said Kam Talebi, CEO and owner of Kaskaid Hospitality in a press release. "Uptown is one of most eclectic areas in the Twin Cities and we are thrilled to be part of the neighborhood and look forward to seeing the ideas that come from the community."
The restaurant will be located at the existing Old Chicago in Uptown, taking over the 5,800-square-foot space. It's slated to open in spring 2014.
Kaskaid Hospitality said the new restaurant will serve modern American fare and craft beer in a casual setting. The space will also feature a "unique" outdoor patio, according to the company.
If you'd like to submit your idea for a restaurant name, head to Crave's Facebook page, Twitter or the Crave blog between now and July 23. Tweet @CRAVEamerica using the hashtag #nameourconcept. The winning entry will be revealed on July 26.
