Wal-Mart Announces Online Sale To Rival Amazon's 'Prime Day'
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Walmart announced Monday morning that it will hold a sale to rival Amazon's Prime Day on Wednesday.
Walmart's sale will include more than 2,000 exclusive online discounts. The lower prices will last 90 days and the company will offer free shipping on orders over $35 for 30 days. It's usually $50.
Amazon calls its sale bigger than Black Friday, but is only available for Prime members.
Walmart is calling out Amazon for just making prices lower for its prime customers, who pay $99 a year for the service.
