VP Joe Biden To Make Another Wis. Campaign Stop
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden is coming back to Wisconsin next week, underscoring how important Wisconsin's 10 electoral votes have become in this presidential campaign.
President Barack Obama's campaign says Biden will be in Wisconsin on Friday. No other details were immediately released.
It'll be Biden's fifth trip to Wisconsin this year. Obama stumped in Wisconsin twice during this campaign, including a Madison rally this month. And on Friday, first lady Michelle Obama and former President Bill Clinton also made stops in Wisconsin.
Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan has also made numerous Wisconsin trips to raise money and spend time with his family in Janesville.
Recent polls show the race is a dead heat in Wisconsin, one of about nine states that both sides still see as being in play.
