Voter ID Public Airing In Maplewood: Tense, But Civil
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota's Voter ID Amendment got a public airing on Tuesday night in Maplewood.
The crowd packed the Maplewood City Council chambers for a tense, but civil showdown featuring a former Minnesota governor.
Former Republican Gov. Arne Carlson made a surprise appearance, urging defeat of the Voter ID Amendment, describing it as a power grab by Republicans.
