Facing Extreme Cold, Vikings Move Pregame Activities Indoors
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – With a winter storm tearing through Minnesota with the ferocity of a Viking longship, football fans might be worried their pregame activities will be interrupted.
The team has you covered though. The Vikings announced Friday that, due to the extreme temperatures, many of the pregame activities typically held in The Commons or Vikings Village will be moved inside.
The climate-controlled Vikings Longhouse will remain open.
The team also urges fans to arrive early to avoid longer wait times closer to kickoff and to use the dedicated U.S. Bank Stadium event skyway route, which opens at 9 a.m. Gates will open at 9:30.
