Adrian Peterson is coming off helping the Vikings win the NFC North Division and taking the NFL regular season rushing title. And now his fellow players consider him one of the league's top players.
According to the NFL Network's annual poll, Peterson was voted on by his peers as the fifth best player in the NFL. He ran for more than 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns last year to win the NFL rushing title.
Apparently his big season a year ago made an impression -- He was No. 62 on the same list this time last year. The four players ahead of AP, in order: Cam Newton, Tom Brady, JJ Watt and Antonio Brown.
Vikings safety Harrison Smith made the list at No. 73, and defensive tackle Linval Joseph is at No. 76.
