Vikes' OL Fusco Benefiting From Veteran Mentor, Teammate
MANKATO, Minn. (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Vikings don't know how good the offensive line will be this season, but they do know who will be the starting five.
Brandon Fusco was the final decision and he will start at right guard.
He's big, strong, but raw, so he's working on molding the clay into a finished product.
"I'm not where I need to be, but I'm getting there," said Fusco.
He's benefiting from help from someone who lines up next to him, veteran center John Sullivan.
"Ever since I got here, he's been my biggest mentor. He took me under his wing … he's a good player and someone I really look up to," said Fusco.
Fusco would like to be where Sullivan is – established.
