Woman fatally stabbed in St. Paul's Payne-Phalen neighborhood
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Police said a woman was stabbed to death Tuesday night on St. Paul's east side.
The stabbing happened around 9 p.m. at a home on Maryland Avenue East near North Cypress Street.
Police said when officers got to the "chaotic scene," multiple people were holding down a 40-year-old man, whom officers arrested.
The victim died at the hospital. She was identified as 41-year-old Corrina Woodhull.
St. Paul police say this is the eighth homicide of the year and the second from domestic violence. Police are investigating.
