UPS To Hire More Than 1,400 In Twin Cities
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The UPS announced Monday it is gearing up for the holiday season by hiring more than 1,400 people in the Twin Cities area.
The openings are a combination of seasonal and permanent positions, which include package handlers, delivery and tractor-trailer drivers and driver-helpers.
UPS is hiring at four area locations, which include its Eagan facility at 555 Opperman Dr., its Minneapolis facilities at 3312 Broadway St. NE and 2645 Cargo Road, and its Maple Grove facility at 8601 Valley Forge Lane.
UPS says a part-time or seasonal job is frequently a foot in the door to a full-time position.
