Survey: 662M Vacation Days Went Unused In 2016
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's Memorial Day, which means many Americans have a vacation day.
A yearly survey by the research firm GFK shows the average American took 16.8 days of vacation in 2016.
That's up by about a half a day from the year before.
Those days are still far less than the average vacation days earned – 22.6.
That means last year Americans did not use about 662 million vacation days.
