University Of Minnesota Hosting Taste This Weekend
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The 6th Annual Taste! will showcase the best in local food, wine and specialty beers for 2013.
On Friday and Saturday, you can enjoy the cooking by 40 top chefs, 350 wines and 100 specialty beers.
Chef demos, wine and food tastings, guest vintners and brewers will showcase the fine art of wine and beer making through interactive displays and discussions.
The event will benefit Smile Network International. The locally based charity provides free reparative surgery for children born with cleft palates and lips.
The event takes place at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota. Friday will run from 7 to 10 p.m. and on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.
