UND Hockey Gets Commitments From 2 Recruits
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota hockey program has received commitments from two more recruits.
Forward Adam Tambellini is the son of Edmonton Oilers general manager Steve Tambellini. Forward Bryn Chyzyk is having a breakout season for the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League.
Tambellini is playing for the Vernon Vipers of the British Columbia Hockey League. He chose UND over Minnesota, Michigan and Penn State. The 17-year-old will arrive on campus either next year or in 2013.
Chyzyk chose UND over several schools including defending national champion Minnesota-Duluth and Nebraska-Omaha. The 19-year-old will come to Grand Forks in the fall.
