UND Defenseman Blood To Return For Senior Season
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- The University of North Dakota says standout hockey defenseman Ben Blood will return for his senior season.
The Plymouth, Minn., native appeared in all 44 games for the Fighting Sioux this past season and led the nation with a plus-32 plus/minus rating.
Blood was a fourth-round draft pick of the Ottawa Senators in 2007.
UND's season ended with a semifinal loss to Michigan in the NCAA Frozen Four.
